Gee Atherton stormed to the win in the Giant Air DH at Crankworx Les 2 Alpes yesterday – a feat mirrored by his sister Rachel in the women’s race. World Cup top dogs Aaron Gwin and Greg Minnaar may have been absent but it was no walkover, with world champ Danny Hart just one of several big names in attendance, and some super-fast sections and a massive step-down to contend with.
